Call for Poster Abstracts

CMSB 2014 solicits original poster abstracts on the analysis of biological systems, networks, and data. The conference brings together computer scientists, biologists, mathematicians, engineers, and physicists interested in a system-level understanding of biological processes.

Poster abstracts should be submitted from one of the following categories:

  • formalisms for modelling biological processes,
  • models and their biological applications,
  • frameworks for model verification, validation, and analysis of biological systems,
  • high-performance computational systems biology and parallel implementations,
  • model inference from experimental data,
  • model integration from biological databases,
  • multi-scale modelling and analysis methods,
  • computational approaches for synthetic biology.

Case studies in systems and synthetic biology are especially encouraged. Joint experimental and computational research abstracts are also highly encouraged.

The abstract of each poster should be written in LaTeX as a 2-page document using the LNCS format and be submitted electronically as PDF files via EasyChair. Selected posters will also be given short talk slots at the conference.

Proceedings will be published in the Springer series Lecture Notes in Computer Science / Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics.
