Postdoc position to work on COPASI in Manchester, UK

We have an open position for a BBSRC-funded postdoctoral researcher to join the COPASI development team in our group in The University of Manchester. We are seeking a PhD or equivalent in systems biology, computer science, physics, applied mathematics or related areas. Experience of programming in C++ or another object-oriented language, as well as modelling with differential equations are essential. Previous experience of using the COPASI is desirable but not essential.

The COPASI team in Manchester consists of another postoctoral researcher and two PIs, plus a number of colleagues who use and test the software. The COPASI development team includes also colleagues at the Virginia Bioinformatics Institute, in Blacksburg, Virginia, USA, and at the University of Heidelberg, Germany.
